3. BOB Sport Utility
BOB Sport Utility is the ideal stroller for outdoor adventures off the beaten track. It features a fixed front tire to provide extra stability when hiking or jogging. It also has pneumatic knobby wheels on high-impact polymer rims as well as an adjustable handbrake for greater control downhill. It also features an easy two-step folding system that makes it easy to move and store. This baby jogger has an adjustable handlebar to fit parents of all terrain buggies sizes as well as an enormous canopy that features a peek-a-boo window so that you can watch your child. It can be paired with car seats for a newborn to create the ultimate travel set-up.
The BOB Sport Utility’s biggest drawback is its lack of maneuverability. It scored a score of 6 out of 10. This is mostly due to its design and the fact that it can be used with the majority of Cybex strollers as well as some from other brands as well to be used as the Travel System. It also comes with excellent safety features.
In our Infant Car Seats tests the Cybex Aton scores above average in both forward-facing and rear-facing installation and comfort. Its headrest adjusts to 11 different heights and it has a harness that is not rethread to make it easy to keep the straps properly adjusted as your child grows. Cybex seats also feature an extra load leg at the base to reduce rotation in a crash and an anti-rebound safety feature to keep your child in the center of the seat.
The Aton is iSize-approved right from birth and can be used in conjunction with Cybex Base M for an added layer of security. It also has an innovative linear side-impact protection that redirects and absorbs forces of collisions. Unfortunately, the Aton’s short shell may not work with smaller cars and other models. Its canopy isn’t as large and does not have a peek-a-boo window.
Another issue is the cost. This is a very expensive seat particularly when you consider the fact that it performed better over the rest of our tests. There are other great options available at lower costs.
