1. OriginalLine
OriginalLine is the classic line of Nespresso that uses hermetically sealed pods. They are the most affordable and produce espresso coffee machines, Resource, and coffee machine with milk frother. They also have a greater variety of capsules and beverage choices than VertuoLine machines. However, if you’re looking for larger drinks, then you’ll need to choose the VertuoLine line instead.
The VertuoLine uses more advanced techniques and specifications to deliver better performance than the OriginalLine. They have a more diverse assortment of brew sizes that include 0.85 ounces of ristretto 1.35 ounces of double espresso, 5.8 ounces of lungo and 14 ounces Alto XL. They also offer a quicker process called centrifusion, which rotates the pods at 7,000 RPM, Espresso coffee machines allowing more water to flow through for better extraction.
In addition to improving the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of reusable capsules they sell and introduced an environmentally friendly packaging system. They now use 80% recycled aluminum for their coffee capsules, and they are determined to increase the amount of recycled and low carbon virgin aluminum in their future products.
The Lattissima Pro coffee machine is one of the most efficient nespresso machine available. It features a quick heat-up time and an LCD screen that allows you to customize settings. It also comes with a powerful steaming wand for creating a café-like foam and milk texture. It may not be as compact as other nespresso models, however, it is simple to clean and comes with a removable capsule container.
2. Vertuoline
The Vertuoline series is a more recent addition to the Nespresso lineup. It has a sleek, minimalist design and is the only one that makes both espresso and coffee. It has a built-in frother for milk. This is an excellent choice for people who drink a variety of black drinks and don’t want to deal with the hassle of making the drinks separately.
Vertuoline machines use a different pod system that is different from the OriginalLine. The pods are marked with barcodes that the machines can detect to determine the amount of the beverage (ristretto or cappuccino), and add the right amount of water. This eliminates the requirement for an additional container of milk and makes it easier to make the perfect espresso or coffee.
In terms of quality in terms of quality, the Vertuoline machines produce an espresso that’s closer to the thick foam you find in a traditional coffee shop rather than the light Crema that is found in the OriginalLine machines. The OriginalLine machines provide the best taste however, due to the fact that they create 19 bars of pressure to extract the flavor from the espresso ground.
The newer VertuoLine machine utilizes a technique called Centrifusion, which spins the capsules more quickly and evenly than the Original Line machine. This improves the speed of water infusion and enhances the quality of the beverage. It also allows Vertuoline machines use lower temperatures which decreases extraction time and boosts the strength of the espresso.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine is an excellent choice for those with little space or a budget. It has smaller tanks and capsule container, yet can handle 19 bar of pressure. This is enough to make the espressos and coffees that the majority of people purchase Nespresso for.

This model also includes a jug to make drinks with foam. The machine also comes with 11 different milk temperature settings for customizing the texture of your melitta coffee machine or latte, and it can make both short and long cappuccinos as well as lattes.
It is easy to select the right drink using this model’s labeled buttons and the base of the capsule holder has raised squares that control the amount of pressure it applies on each pod in order to create the size of the beverage you want. This allows you to regulate the amount of pressure applied to each pod and also helps determine when the machine needs to descale. The machine can also be used with capsules from other brands, such as Dualit’s Nespresso compatible capsules.
4. Creatista

The design of the machine is sleek and elegant with a sleek body made of stainless steel that looks stunning on any counter. The high-resolution screen makes it easy to use the machine for setting up, preparing food, and even maintaining it. The machine is available in four different colors that include black truffle (pictured) sea salt (pictured), damson blue (pictured) and stainless steel. This bundle also includes the Aeroccino milk-steamer so that you can make delicious cappuccinos and creamy lattes. You can also make use of capsules that are reusable with this model, however they’re not included.
It comes with a large water tank that can hold 1 liter as well as containers for used capsules that can accommodate nine to eleven capsules. Contrary to the Pixie model, this one does not automatically eject used capsules after making them; you have to raise and lower the holder to get them out.
The machine is easy to use and the sleek design makes it easy to clean. The model also has a descaling mode, though there’s no indicator or button, and the process isn’t intuitive. Nespresso recommends using its own descaling system and running it through every 300 to 1,200 cups depending on the hardness of your water. The drip tray, water tank and capsule container are all easily washable for ease of cleaning.
