iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review
This robot vacuum is not scared to take on the stairs, unlike some others. However, just like any other mop or vacuum it is prone to getting blocked by debris such as stray tennis shoes or ribbons and play jewelry, yarn, or other stray objects.

iRobot Combo i5
This multitasker can mop and vacuum in one machine. The vacuuming is done with a specialised bin which can accommodate up to 60 days of debris. According to iRobot, this reduces the amount dust released into the air. The i5+ also features dual multi-surface rubber brush heads and Power-Lifting Suction that can tackle dust, dirt, pet hair and dirt on hard floors. When you’re ready to mop, simply switch in the Mopping Bin and a compatible cleaning solution.
The i5+ runs iRobot OS and gets smarter the more you use it. It creates a Smart Map, which remembers the names of rooms as well as your preferences for cleaning. The iRobot App lets you create a schedule or instruct the robot to clean a certain room.

iRobot Combo i3
The iRobot Combo i3 is an updated version of the Roomba i3. It has a HEPA filter to remove allergens, and the same excellent external dust compartment, however it now supports smart mapping. This means that you can designate zones that are not allowed to be used to stop it from vacuuming those areas again. The i3 Plus has a lot of other fantastic features, including its advanced cleaning system and 10x power-lifting vacuum. It also has a three-stage cleaning process. It has a textured finish to keep dust, pet hair and fingerprints from getting on.
It is able to perform well on unfinished floors and cleans the majority of debris, but it struggled with pet hair on low-pile carpets. It does a fantastic job with high pile carpets though and is quieter than the other models. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it has a self-emptying station that empties the dirtbag, fills its water reservoir, and cleans the mop pads.

iRobot Combo i4
This iRobot robot vacuum and mop is great for anyone who wants a clean house without lifting a finger. It is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it via voice commands. It also has smart mapping technology, meaning you can make a plan for the robot to follow.
It has an integrated docking station with a low profile that takes up little space. It also comes with a dirt compartment that can be empty by pressing a button. However it’s impossible to see inside the compartment because it’s constructed of opaque plastic. The i4 is also missing some features, including keep-out zones and the shark ai ultra robot vacuum with self empty base-powered obstacle avoidance found on the j7 and j7+ models.
It does however have an effective cleaning system and a pair of rubber brushes that don’t get tangled up with pet hair. It’s a great choice for homes with high pile carpets because it can handle more dirt and debris than less powerful vacuums. The i4 is also less invasive in terms of maintenance requirements, has lower cost of maintenance and also has a longer time of operation in its least powerful suction mode than the i7.
